Symptom / Need

You are a Business Partner and you need to have a centralized and organized record of all the active telephone numbers of your operations, in order to consult which servers or providers they belong to, or you need to directly adjust the capacity of simultaneous calls (concurrency) of a specific number to support peaks of incoming traffic.

Context / Scenarios

This procedure is managed entirely autonomously from the DNIS Inventory and Configuration (Dnis config) option within the Partner Portal . Unlike temporary monitoring panels, this module acts as the definitive structural inventory of the telephony assigned to the Partner's various operations.

Answer / Solution

Prerequisites

  • Have active access to the Partner Portal.
  • Knowing the telephone number (DID) or the specific operation that you wish to consult or modify.

Visualization Flow

The Dnis config module is designed to allow the administrator to audit the numbering log and edit operational limits in two simple steps:

Step 1: Search and View in the Inventory

  1. Access the Dnis config module in the side menu of your Partner Portal.
  2. Use the general search bar at the top to quickly filter the table. You can search by entering the phone number, server, or any other record variable.
  3. The main table will display detailed information for each assigned line:
  • Trunk name: Identifier of the link through which the call travels.
  • Associated telephone number: The configured public number (DID).
  • Simultaneous call limit: The current concurrency capacity assigned to that number.
  • Description: Illustrative label to understand the purpose or routing of that traffic.
  • Trunk type and provider: Indicates whether the number comes from a virtual trunk or a specific external carrier (for example: Claro, TWW, Tenser, Intel, among others).
  • Server: Identifies the node or server (e.g., a 9X server) to which the number is connected and receiving traffic.

Step 2: Capacity Management and Editing (Simultaneity)

  1. To view additional details of a specific number, click on the “ Dnis Info ” button.
  2. If you need to modify the configuration, you can edit the corresponding registry entry.

Editor's note: The only parameter modifiable by the administrator within this inventory is concurrency (limit of concurrent calls).

  1. Define the required channels :
  • Minimum base capacity: The system comes parameterized by default with a minimum of 2 simultaneous channels.
  • Adjust the value (increase or decrease) according to the operational needs of the campaign.
  1. Click Save to apply the change.

Recommendation

⚠️ Critical Capacity Increases (More than 20 channels): If you need to configure a capacity increase exceeding 20 simultaneous channels on a single phone number, it is strongly recommended to verify beforehand with your numbering provider (whether Wolkvox or your external telephony carrier) that the trunk has the necessary technical capacity. This ensures that the server responds appropriately to the expected traffic volume and prevents blocking or interruptions in the contact channels.
