New Password Policy Configuration in wolkvox CRM
wolkvox CRM now includes a new Password Configuration section, designed to strengthen platform access security by using more robust passwords and enforcing mandatory periodic renewal according to the policy defined by the operation.
This new functionality allows administrators to establish a security policy that requires passwords with stricter complexity criteria, including a minimum of 10 characters, the use of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Additionally, extra validations are applied to reinforce protection, such as avoiding numeric sequences, preventing the use of the username within the password, and restricting the reuse of recent passwords.
Within the new configuration tab, the administrator can enable or disable the policy using the toggle "Enable Password Policy" and define the validity of credentials from the "Days until Password Expiration" field. Here, it is possible to choose predefined periods or set a custom number of days, with a flexible range of 30 to 365 days.
Once this configuration is applied, when a user's password expires, the system will require an update to allow access again. At that moment, the user will see a mandatory password change screen with the requirements visible in the interface. After the change, the session will also be closed on other devices where it was previously logged in, reinforcing access control.
Benefits
- Strengthens access security to wolkvox CRM.
- Reduces risks of breaches due to weak or reused passwords.
- Allows defining password validity periods according to each operation's policy.
- Improves compliance with corporate security best practices.
- Forces the use of more complex passwords.
- Reinforces session control by closing open accesses on other devices after a password change.
- Offers flexible configuration managed directly from the CRM.
Configuration
To configure the new Password Policy in wolkvox CRM, follow this process:
- Log in to wolkvox CRM. Click on the "Settings" button in the top right menu.
- Go to the "Users" tab.
- Go to the "Password Configuration" tab.
- Enable or disable the toggle "Enable Password Policy" according to what you want for your operation.

- Or define a custom number of days (Maximum 365 days).
- Click on "Save" to apply the changes.
- In the "Days until Password Expiration" field, select the validity period for the password:

What Happens After Saving
- Users must comply with the complexity rules defined by the policy.
- When the password expires, the system will force the user to change it.
- If the password has already expired, access will be blocked until the update is made.
- After the change, the session will be closed on other devices where that user had open access.

Requirements for Creating a New Password
- Must contain at least ten characters in length.
- Must contain at least one lowercase letter.
- Must contain at least one special character.
- Must contain at least one uppercase letter.
- Must contain at least one numeric digit.
- Cannot contain sequential numbers (e.g., 123, 456).

Considerations
- The configuration is flexible per administrator, with a range of 30 to 365 days.
- The password must meet complexity rules.
- The change is mandatory when the defined validity period is reached.
- Access is blocked if the password expires.

Redesign of AI Assistant and Knowledge Retrieval in wolkvox CRM
wolkvox CRM has implemented a redesign of the Knowledge Assistant based on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architecture, integrating it natively within the CRM interface. This update not only modernizes the visual layer but also improves the interaction experience between the user, the knowledge base, and the assistant.
Now, the management of knowledge bases from Knowledge Retrieval presents a more organized interface aligned with the overall CRM design, facilitating the administration of repositories, documents, and configurations related to the assistant. Additionally, within each knowledge base, a more integrated experience is maintained for querying uploaded information and validating how the assistant responds to real questions.
The images show that the assistant is presented as **wvx CRM Assistant** within a side panel integrated into the same CRM view, providing visual and functional continuity to the user experience. This allows the interaction with the assistant to feel like a natural extension of the platform rather than a separate tool.
This redesign also represents an important foundation for the product's evolution, as it prepares both the CRM and the user for the incorporation of new capabilities associated with **WVX-Copilot**, maintaining a more consistent experience between modules, assistants, and intelligent tools.
Benefits
- Integrates the knowledge assistant natively within the wolkvox CRM interface.
- Standardizes the visual design between the CRM and the assistant.
- Improves the consistency of the user experience.
- Facilitates smoother interaction with knowledge bases and uploaded documents.
- Makes the administration of Knowledge Retrieval repositories more organized.
- Prepares the platform for future functionalities related to WVX-Copilot.
- Reinforces a more modern and coherent experience within the wolkvox CRM ecosystem.
Considerations
- The assistant's performance depends directly on the quality of the knowledge base, including instructions and uploaded documentation.
- It is recommended to improve the instructions on what the assistant should do to obtain better responses.
- Currently, the assistant does not have automatic context of the information the user is viewing in the CRM at that moment.
