Introduction
MailVox is a feature within Wolkvox CRM that allows for email management, facilitating the administration, organization, and response to emails from a single platform. Currently, MailVox only permits integration with the "Outlook" service, which simplifies the synchronization and management of emails directly from Wolkvox CRM.
Configuration
Considerations: General Feature Scope
Permitted Actions
- Compose, Reply, Reply All, and Forward.
- Attach files according to the formats available in the cases module.
- Attach files with .eml and .msg extensions (Outlook emails) for consultation or viewing, but it is not possible to reply to these emails.
- If the .eml or .msg file contains attachments, these cannot be downloaded or viewed.
- Incorporate images and tables into the email body. Tables can be edited, allowing for changes to font size or content modification.
- The maximum allowed size for emails is 25 MB, with a limit of 18 MB for attachments.
- The process of copying and pasting tables that contain images must be done individually—that is, first copy the table and then copy and paste the image inside the table.
Technical Restrictions
- It is not possible to edit the original email when using the Reply or Reply All actions due to technical limitations (API). However, in the Forward action, editing is possible, as it is interpreted as a new email.
- In new emails or when forwarding, it is possible to add yourself as a recipient. This is not possible when using “Reply” or “Reply All” due to API restrictions.
- The maximum number of threads to view in a specific email is 100 emails. If the email to be consulted contains more than this limit, the tool will display a message informing that this email must be consulted from the local email engine (Outlook), but it will offer the option to view the specific message as an independent message (without the email thread).
- In threads, you cannot remove those sent by yourself; therefore, they will be listed even if they come from another folder.
- The search function for a specific email can only be executed within each folder; it does not execute a search globally or across all folders like Outlook.
- When executing the actions Compose new email, Reply, and Forward, the functionality allows attaching files (permitted formats and files with .msg and .eml extensions). For the Reply All action, due to API restrictions, it is only possible to reply without attachments.
- Due to restrictions in HTML code interpretation, when viewing the content, it may not correctly preserve the forms and styles, which can cause content overlap and affect its neat and compact presentation.
