Buttons with Variable URLs in WhatsApp Templates for wolkvox Agent

A new functionality is enabled in WhatsApp templates that allows including buttons with dynamic URLs, meaning links that incorporate variables within their structure (for example: https://www.example.com/product?id={{1}}).

With this enhancement, agents can customize the URL before sending the message, replacing the variable value directly from the sending form in wolkvox Agent. The end user will receive a button that takes them to a unique and contextual page, without the need to create multiple templates for each case.

This functionality leverages Meta's automatic validation and operates for both Marketing and Utility templates.

  • Advanced personalization in one click: The final link adapts according to the product, customer, campaign, or other data entered by the agent.
  • Greater commercial flexibility: Allows sending dynamic links without creating dozens of fixed templates.
  • Simple approval by Meta: Only one valid example is required for the template to be accepted.

Template Usage

When an agent selects this template, they will see:

  • The predefined message body
  • The configured buttons
  • A field to write the actual value of the variable, for example:
    • "products"
    • "4ktv"
  • This value replaces {{1}} in the URL before sending the message.
  • Example:
    • Template configured with: https://www.example.com/{{1}}
    • Agent writes in the "Button 1" field: products
    • The URL sent to the customer will be: https://www.example.com/products

 

 

Reactions to WhatsApp Messages with Emojis in wolkvox Agent

Starting with this update, agents handling WhatsApp conversations from wolkvox Agent can now react to user messages using emojis, just as in the native WhatsApp application.

This functionality replicates the natural behavior of the channel, allowing the selection of reactions such as 👍, ❤️, 😂, 😮, 😢, among others, directly on the customer's message. This facilitates a more dynamic, expressive, and close interaction without the need to write an additional message.

  • Humanizes the conversation: Allows responding quickly and emotionally without sending a full message.
  • Increases response speed: A reaction can convey approval, confirmation, or empathy in a single click.
  • Improves user experience: The customer perceives a more natural treatment, similar to the messaging apps they already use.
  • Reduces operational load: Avoids repetitive responses when a reaction communicates the agent's intention.
  • Full compatibility with official WhatsApp: Reactions are immediately reflected in the customer's application.

 

How to React to a Message

  • The agent must locate the user's message within the WhatsApp conversation.
  • When hovering over the message, a small reaction icon (😊) will appear.
  • Click on that icon to open the emoji panel.
  • Select any available emoji to send it as a reaction.
  • The reaction will be sent immediately and will be visible to both the agent and the customer.

 

 

Copy and Paste Images from Clipboard in wolkvox Agent

Now, wolkvox Agent allows copying and pasting images directly from the clipboard within the chat, facilitating the quick sending of visual content.

When the agent pastes an image (for example, using Ctrl + V), the system detects that it is a graphic file and automatically converts it into an attachment with a preview, uploads it to the server, and prepares it for sending in the message.

This enhancement speeds up the conversation flow, eliminates manual steps, and makes interaction with customers more natural through any channel that supports multimedia sending (such as WhatsApp, Web Chat, or channels that allow attaching images).

  • Greater operational speed: The agent no longer needs to search for files in the file explorer; they just need to copy from any source (screenshots, photos, documents, etc.).

Usage

  • Copy an image from any application (for example, Screenshot, Photos, Paint, browser, etc.).
  • Go to the conversation window in wolkvox Agent.
  • Inside the chat input, press Ctrl + V or right-click → Paste.
  • The system will detect the content as an image and automatically generate an attachment with a preview.
  • You can:
    • Send it directly.
    • Delete it before sending (using the "X" icon on the preview card).
  • When you send the message, wolkvox Agent will upload the file to the server and transmit it to the customer.
  • Considerations: 
    • The feature is available for channels that support multimedia.
    • The system automatically converts the image to a compatible format and uploads it to the wolkvox server.
    • If the file exceeds the size limits allowed by the channel, the platform will display the corresponding message.
