Sending SMS templates from wolkvox Agent

Wolkvox Agent has introduced a new feature that allows sending SMS templates through the Two-Way SMS service. This feature, currently available only in the United States, allows agents to use templates previously configured in Wolkvox Manager by the operation administrator. These templates are associated with a single connector, facilitating structured and personalized communication with customers.

How it works

Access to the SMS Service

  • Click the "SMS" button located in the top right menu of the Wolkvox Agent interface.
  • A new window will open where you must select the "Two-Way SMS" tab.

 

Shipping Configuration

  • SMS Connector: Select an SMS connector configured by your operation administrator.
  • Country + Phone: Enter the phone number you want to use to start the two-way SMS conversation. Remember, this service is only available for numbers in the United States.
  • Template Name: Select the desired SMS template, previously created by the administrator. You won't be able to start a conversation without selecting a template.
  • Template: Displays the message from the selected template, which will include variables identified as {{1}}, {{2}}, etc.
  • One Line per Variable: Write the values corresponding to each variable in the template, making sure to place each value on a separate line.
  • Attachment Link: Optionally, you can include a URL to send an attachment along with the template message (maximum 5 MB).
  • Enable Chat Interaction: Activate this option if you want the agent to be able to receive and respond to messages from the customer, allowing a two-way conversation.

 

Sending the message

Click the "Send Message" button to send the configured SMS according to the established parameters.
