Introduction

Install the desktop version of wolkvox Agent (formerly known as AgentBox) on a Windows PC so agents can manage contact center interactions natively with optimal performance.

The wolkvox Agent desktop version is designed as the primary tool for agents, providing access to calls and chats. It is exclusively available for Windows (versions 8.1, 10, or 11) with 64-bit architecture.

Similar to wolkvox Manager, installation requires generating a temporary authorization code (Support ID) from the wolkvox Manager application (web or desktop version) to access the installer.

This process is crucial to:

  • Equip agents with the desktop software for their daily tasks.
  • Ensure that download access is authorized by an operation administrator.

 

 

Download and Installation Process

The installation is divided into two phases: first, obtaining the authorization code (Support ID), and second, downloading and executing the installer.

 

Phase 1: Obtaining the Authorization Code (Support ID)

  1. Access Wolkvox Manager: Log in to the wolkvox Manager application (web or desktop). 
    1. Generate the Code: In the top-right corner of the interface, click the "Support" button (usually a help or question mark icon).
  2. Complete the Form: Fill out the form with the required information (Operation, User, Name, Phone, Email, etc.) and select a "Report Reason".

 

 

Obtain the Support ID: Click "Generate ID". A window will appear with the generated code (Support ID). Copy this code.

 

 

Phase 2: Downloading and Installing the Application

  1. Access the Installer: Go to the download URL: [Click here].
    1. Enter the Support ID: In the download form, enter your operation’s NIT and the Support ID you copied in the previous step.
  2. Download the File: Click "Sign In".
  3. The compressed file (wolkvox-Agent.zip) will begin downloading automatically.

 

 

Extract and Run the Installer:

  1. Go to your Downloads folder and extract the file.
  2. Run the extracted installation file (wolkvox-Agent). Windows will ask if you want to allow the app to make changes to your device; click "Yes".

 

 

  1. Installation Process:
    1. The installer welcome window will appear. Select the installer language ("Select the setup language"). 
    2. Note: The wolkvox Agent application language will be based on your operating system language.
  2. Follow the prompts by clicking "Next". It is recommended to keep the default installation folder ('C:\ipdialbox').
    1. Finish:
      • Leave the checkbox to create a desktop shortcut checked.
      • Once the installation is complete, close the window.
      • The wolkvox Agent shortcut will appear on your desktop.
