How to allow an agent to connect from a specific IP?

You need to authorize an agent to connect to wolkvox Agent from a different IP than the general operation's IP, for example, when working remotely or at a different location.

- An agent will be working from home or another location and needs access to wolkvox Agent without being limited to the main IP of the operation.
- It is required to add an additional allowed IP for a specific agent without affecting the access settings of other agents.
- The organization wants to strengthen access control, allowing certain agents to connect only from specific locations.
Answer (Solution/Recommendation)
To add an allowed IP for an agent in wolkvox Manager, follow these steps:
- Enter wolkvox Manager and in the left side menu select Agents & Skills > Agents.
- Locate the agent you want to add a specific IP to. You can use the search field by entering their agent ID or name.
- Right click on the agent and select "Edit Agent Information".
- In the pop-up window, go to the Advanced Information tab.
- In the "Allowed IP" field, enter the IP address from which the agent will be able to connect to wolkvox Agent.
- Click "Save" to apply the changes.
💡 Note: If the agent tries to connect from an IP other than the one specified in this field and that is not the general IP of the operation, he will not be able to access wolkvox Agent.
