You need to control and secure access to your Wolkvox operation, allowing connections only from specific IP addresses and managing how many of these IPs can be authorized under your license.

Security is paramount in managing a contact center operation. Limiting access to the Wolkvox Manager platform to a set of predefined IP addresses is a fundamental security practice that helps prevent unauthorized access. This feature is useful in scenarios where agents or administrators connect from fixed locations (offices, specific VPNs) and the goal is to strengthen the protection of information and infrastructure. Wolkvox Manager allows these IP restrictions to be configured through its Firewall module.

Answer (Solution / Recommendation)

Wolkvox Manager allows you to add connection IP addresses to control which locations your platform can be accessed from, thus strengthening the security of your operation.

Process to add connection IPs:

1. Access Settings: Click on the Settings button (⚙️) located in the upper right corner of the Wolkvox Manager application.
2. Navigating to Licensing and Firewall: In the configuration window, go to the "Licensing and Firewall" tab.
3. Firewall Selection: Within the "Licensing and Firewall" tab, click the "Firewall" option.
4. Add IP: In the "Add IP - Permanent Firewall" section, you'll find a field for entering the "IP Address." Enter the IP address you want to authorize. Select whether the IP address will be permanent or not from the drop-down menu, and then click the "Add IP" button to add it to the list.

Once added, the IP will appear in the permanent IPs table, showing information such as the registration date and whether it is active.

IP limit per license

• Shared Server: If the operation was contracted on a shared server, you can add up to 10 IP addresses per license purchased from wolkvox.
• Dedicated Server: If the operation was contracted on a dedicated server, you can add up to 15 IP addresses per license purchased from wolkvox.
