How to create an external Token and associate it with a Company in Wolkvox CRM

Introduction
Wolkvox CRM users can create external tokens to allow access to specific APIs dedicated to concrete clients. This process is essential for properly managing integrations with partner companies.
This article is useful for:

- Administrators who want to associate tokens with companies to grant access to specific functionalities.

Configuration

Access the tokens section:
- Log in to your Wolkvox CRM account.
- Navigate to the Configuration menu on the left panel.
- Select "Wolkvox Integration" and then click on "Tokens".

Start token creation:
- Click the "Add token" button to begin the process of creating a new token.

Configure the token:
- Token Name: Enter a descriptive name for the token that allows you to easily identify it in the future.
- Token Type: Select "External" as the token type.

Associate a Company with the token:
- Click the magnifying glass icon to search for the company you wish to associate with the token. Ensure that the company is created in the company module.
- Select the desired company by clicking the flag icon next to the company name. This will associate the company with the token you are creating.

Confirm token creation:
- Once you have selected the company, it will appear in the "Companies" field.
- Click "Confirm" to finalize the creation of the external token.
Additional Considerations
- Use of External Tokens: Currently, external tokens are only usable for the 'Consult Case Notes History' API. Ensure this is the intended use for the token you are creating.
- Security and Limitations: Tokens are hidden by default for security reasons. Use the eye icon to view the full token when necessary. Note that it is not possible to edit the token name or type once created.
